Fantastic news, one of our latest roofing projects here at Enviroply Roofing will involve once again working with Tyson Construction, for a residential development on Pine Street, Bury.
Project: Pine St Bury
Address: Pine Street, Bury Road, Bury, Lancashire, M26 2WQ
Contractor: Tyson Construction
Roof size: 335m2
Roof system: Sika Sarnafil Single Ply Roof, S327-15EL, PIR (foil faced) Insulation, Sarnavap 500E Vapour Control Layer
Installation: Mechanically Fixed
About the project:
This project will involve the construction of 15 New Build, 1 Bed Flats in a single three-Storey building. This will also require associated drainage and external works including forming a new access roadway and parking.
Our role in the project:
After the creation of a new plywood mechanically fixed roof deck, we will be installing the vapour control layer. For this, we have opted for the Sarnavap 500E, which offers a high level of flexibility, durability, and high-water vapour resistance, for maximum roof longevity and security.
After the vapour control layer, we will install the insulation layer. For this we have selected PIR (foil faced) insulation. This is polyisocyanurate rigid foam insulation that will be installed in a staggered bond pattern and mechanically fixed into position.
Finally, to complete the new roof project, we will be installing a Sika Sarnafil S327-15EL Single Ply Membrane in light grey. This is made from high quality polyester reinforced polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and is well known for its durability and longevity. This membrane will also provide a high level of UV resistance and flame retardant, as well as being fully weatherproof.
