Cheshire College Case Study
For the Cheshire College South and West project, we installed a Sika Roofing system.
- Beginning the installation with the vapour control layer, for which we used the Sarnavap 5000E. This is a self-adhesive VCL which offers a very high level of water vapour resistance
- Once the VCL layer was in place and secure, we then installed the insulation layer. For this we used Sikatherm PIR GT Insulation boards.
- Finally, to complete the roofing system, we installed the Sika Sarnafil G410-15ELFmembrane, this membrane delivers a high level of waterproofing to protect the roof system.

Elmwood Primary School Case Study
At Elm Wood Primary School, a new dining hall and kitchen was constructed, providing space for 15 classes of primary school children to enjoy lunch together. The focus of the construction was to create a space that was welcoming and fresh, with plenty of room.
- We installed a Sikaplan single ply roofing system, which was mechanically fixed into position, and included a walkway and PVC laminated drip edge flashing, to the outer face of the parapet.
- We began by installing the AVCL Sarnavap500E, following this we installed the insulation layer using Sikatherm PIR AL, completing the roofing build up by installing the Sikaplan G-18 membrane.
- The project went well and was completed to a high standard, with everyone involved happy with the work, achieving a 20-year guarantee.
