Our role in the project at Chorley Houses:
Here at Enviroply Roofing, we will be installing a number of different roofs, using different products to ensure high quality and effective results.
For Roof systems A to C we will be installing a Sikaplan SGmA single ply membrane. This is a synthetic roof waterproofing sheet that has multiple layers and a premium-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base with inlay of glass non-woven. Due to its construction this membrane can offer a high level of dimensional stability, as well as top quality water vapour permeability, and is resistant to all common environmental influences. The SGmA membrane is the perfect choice for both ballast roofs and green roofs.
For roofs systems D to F we will be installing the Sikaplan G 1.8mm single ply membrane. This is a polyester reinforced synthetic roof waterproofing sheet, made of multiple layers, with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base, and ultraviolet light stabilisers as well as flame retardant. This is the perfect option for mechanically fixed roofing systems, and this membrane offers excellent UV and wind resistance, as well as resistance to a range of environmental issues, and a high water vapour permeability.
