Project overview:
This project involves the demolishing of the Lord Clive Public House in Whitefield Manchester for the creation of 27 apartments. These will consist of 21 one-bedroom apartments and 6 two-bedroom apartments, all for affordable rent.
Our role in the project:
We have been selected to work on this project in light of our expertise and professional ability here at Enviroply Roofing. We will be demonstrating this through our installation of a high-quality single ply roof system.
We will begin by installing the vapour control layer, using the Sarnavap 500E. This is a top quality, non-decaying, flexible option for the vapour control layer that offers a high-water vapour resistance and is perfect for this project.
The insulation we have selected is the Sikatherm PIR AL Insulation Boards. These are faced on both sides with aluminum foil and offer a high level of strength as well as a very low level of thermal conductivity.
To complete the roof build up for the Lord Clive project, we will be installing a Sika Sarnafil S327-15EL Single Ply Membrane. This has been selected for its proven high performance and longevity. Made from premium-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is polyester reinforced, the membrane offers a high level of UV resistant and flame retardant, as well as being fully weatherproof. This includes providing a high level of wind resistance.
